From an early age I've been captivated by video games of all forms and genres (Quake 3, The Darkness and Arkane's Prey are some of my favorites), with countless of hours spent on thousands of titles over the years. I've always wanted to make video games for as long as I can remember. When my dad introduced me to Hip-Hop/Jazz music, it led me to start making music on my own using analogue samplers, synthesizers, drum machines etc. which I still do today and has been an essential part of my workflow, both in sound design and music. Since 2018, I've released music under the alias "fyoum" on most major streaming services and since 2023 I've signed to the Australian music label "Sumoclic".
My love for music, sound and video games brought me to the University of Skövde, where I've studied video game development and expanded my knowledge of sound design, both technically through audio implementation as well as practically through foley work and field recording.
I always stride to make satisfying sounds, whether stylized or realistic and I'm always looking for new and exciting ways to implement, design sounds and produce music.
"Challenging myself through limitations, such as unconventional or niche tools helps me bring creativity to my work. I thrive on experimentation and an adaptive workflow."
My love for games extend beyond audio and music; together with friends, we've set up a start up studio called "dofhouse". We make small titles and everyone is in charge of the game design. We work fluidly between our expertise and disciplines which gives everyone knowledge of their respective field.
I work as a sound designer at Sonigon together with Victor Engström and Vile Hartman who are super cool.
I love my friends very much.
